Ages Eligible for Study: 18 Years and above, Genders Eligible for Study: Both Inclusion Criteria (what you must have in order to enter the trial):
Disease Characteristics You have advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (recurrent or persistent disease, or a second primary tumor). The cancer cells express the Ep-CAM molecule (which you will be tested for once you enter the study) You have received therapy for the advanced cancer but the cancer persisted or came back Prior/Concurrent Therapy: It has been at least 2 weeks since the last dose of anti-cancer therapy (eg, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, biological therapy, or photodynamic therapy). It has been at least 4 weeks since the last dose of any investigational therapy and the first dose of the study drug. Other: Patients must not become pregnant while participating in this trial
